Michele Smith will lead participants through a two hour series of Yin Yoga postures and pranayama (breathwork) to target and release deep connective tissue. Each posture is designed to bypass muscle response and reach deep into fascia, ligaments, and tendons for a unique workout and satisfying stretch. This practice of “loading” on the connective tissues encourages rejuvenation at a deep level not normally accessed through exercise. Guided breath-work will help soothe the nervous system into a healing state and optional aromatic Ayurvedic practices sweetly weave together the intention of revitalizing mind, body and spirit.
